Lily Jacket 1930 Sewing Pattern

Decades of Style

This vintage pattern from 1931 is truly exceptional. It is a waist length, unlined jacket with raglan sleeves. The jacket has quintessentially 1930s shaped seams and piecing - yet it looks right at home in the 21st century. The 3/4 length sleeve has a shaped hem to add even more to the timeless style of this jacket. There are 2 views: one with a tie closure at the center front waist; and one without the ties, featuring a double breasted button closure or no closure with the jacket front draped open.

Choose a light to medium weight fabric. Linen, rayon, silks, challis, wool, light weight suiting. The front is self-lined so take this into consideration when choosing your fabric.

Decades of Style are professionally made patterns from vintage designs. There are often fun and unusual pattern making techniques. Great instructions!

Pattern includes all 9 sizes.
