For those of you ready to dive into a fitted skirt, the Pencil Skirt class is a great opportunity to learn waist bands, zippers and darts.  You can't go wrong with a classic pencil skirt in wool, or a printed cotton.  Wear it for a day at work or a night on the town.   

This class is great for intermediate students who have completed at least 2 of the beginning classes.

You'll need between 1 1/8 & 1 5/8 yards of a woven fabric, depending on your size (don’t worry, we’ll help you decipher it all). 
9" regular zipper
1/4 yard fusible interfacing (provided at class)
Spool of thread

For all classes:
We are project oriented and we make sure you leave class with a finished project.
Classes take place at Selvedge.  (on the Hip Strip at 509 S Higgins Ave)
Stop by Selvedge before class to sign up and to get 15% off your supplies.
Don’t forget to wash your supplies according to the manufacturer’s instructions before class.

Our classes have a minimum and maximum number of students.  If not enough people sign up we will have to cancel the class.Due to our small class sizes we cannot accommodate cancellations. We will be happy to reschedule you one time.
