Let us help you rescue your problem room.  Identify your style, re-purpose, reuse, and rethink your assumptions about your space.  These classes offer simple and affordable solutions to add function (and sewing skills!) to your your home and your life.

Whether you have a particular project in mind, or just want to learn more about decorating.  We will show you the different fabrics and their applications - as well as how to pick pattern, color and texture to best accent your room.

In the Pillow Class we will be making 2 different styles of pillow covers.  One with a removable cover will let you wash your pillow case often, and learn tricks of the invisible zipper!  The second pillow case we'll make is the easy and instant envelope pillow.

Zippered Pillow Cover Supply List: 
(for Sewing Students, who have taken a class but still consider themselves a beginner - $25)
7"-20" invisible zipper (depends on the size of your pillow)

You'll need a little more fabric than the size of your pillow form.  You will need enough fabric for 2 pillow covers.
*Fabric - the heavier weight your fabric the more durable your pillow will be.  

      Envelope Pillow Supply List:

Between 7 7/8 & 15 1/4 yards 45" wide cotton or linen (depending on the size of your comforter)

   Curtain Supply List ($35):
The supplies for this class depend on the dimensions of your window.  Measure your window's height and width.  You can count on about 2 times the length of your window in yardage.  Come in with your measurements and we'll help you figure out exactly how much you need! 

   Organizer Supply List ($35):
Optional:  Sewing Bits & Pieces by Sandi Henderson
Fabric for backing:  1 yard front & 1 yard back
1 yard interfacing

   Table Linen Supply List ($65):

Table cloth with binding & graphic place mats (pg 140)
                  Measure your table before coming in for supplies and we'll help you determine how many yards you will need. 
                  54" wide main fabric.  you'll need about as much as the length of your table.
                  Contrasting fabrics for band.

 For all classes:
We are project oriented and we make sure you leave class with a finished project.
Classes take place at Selvedge.  (on the Hip Strip at 509 S Higgins Ave)
Stop by Selvedge before class to sign up and to get 15% off your supplies.
Don’t forget to wash your supplies according to the manufacturer’s instructions before class.

Our classes have a minimum and maximum number of students.  If not enough people sign up we will have to cancel the class.Due to our small class sizes we cannot accommodate cancellations. We will be happy to reschedule you one time.
